Chamber of
Commerce and Industry Doboj (CCI Doboj) is one of five regional
chambers in the Republic of Srpska. In terms of area, CCI Doboj
is responsible for 8 municipalities in the district of Northern
Republic of Srpska, specifically: Doboj, Srpski Brod, Samac,
Derventa, Petrovo, Vukosavlje and Teslic.
CCI Doboj area thus covers 3007 square kilometers which is 12%
of the total area of the Republic of Srpska. There are 255
settlements in this area, altogether more than 241,550
inhabitants (80 inhabitants / m2), which is 17% of the entire
population of the Republic of Srpska.
The agricultural lands within the Region cover 1658 km2 which is
13% of agricultural land of Republic of Srpska and 55% of the
whole agricultural land of Region. Most of the arable land is
used to produce corn and wheat, and a large portion of arable
land is also reserved for fodder, vegetable and industrial
herbs. Wood complexes cover 38% of whole land of Region.
In the area of the Region, there are 4305 (2538 private or 59%)
companies registered (18% of the whole Republic of Srpska) and
in the municipalities of the Region there are over 6570
registered independent shops.
In terms of the sectors of the business structure, the largest
number of companies are registered in trade, followed by
industry, financial and other services, construction,
agriculture, transport, artisanry, accomodations and other
business.
Current President of CCI Doboj is Novo Screbic, owner and
general manager of company Destilacija Teslic.
In the last year, he
is especially engaged in the business cooperation between Doboj
Region and abroad, as well as in business connection between
countries - exYugoslavian republics.
CCI Doboj is a part of Economic Chamber of Republic of Srpska.
It is independent professional association of other economic
subjects (banks, insurance societies etc) on the Region, too. As
the partner of state authorities and trade unions, CCI Doboj
represents the interests of the employers in realisation of
economic system pursuant the law.
CCI Doboj services its members in exactly established economic
activities: at rationalized supplying with raw materials; at
contacts with state authorities and banks; at making out of
proposals for development of products and technologies; at
marketing research; at estimating of certain sorts of business
for some firms in the same branch and in other cases when for
some economic activity more firms and economic subjects show
their interest.
The separate tasks of CCI Doboj are stimulating of private
iniciative development, as well as private firms. Pursuant to
that, the appearances of so called grey economy are observing
and analysing and the measures for its repulsing are being
suggested.
The cooperation development with the chambers from Republic of Srpska, BiH and
countries resulted of former Yugoslavia has shown significant successes till
now. Therefor is the CCI Doboj taking measures for regional
cooperation with regional chambers from the Balkan states as
well as in Europe. |
Craftsmen - Entrepreneurs Chamber
for Doboj Region (CEC Doboj) is founded on 2002, as association
of craftsmen and entrepreneurs, legal follower of the part of
Association of independent businesses for Republika Srpska
related to Doboj region, outside of Chamber of Commerce and
Industry.
Now, CEC Doboj consists of 4850 registered craftsmen and
entrepreneurs. Attained results in CEC Doboj activities are
large, especially results of several long-standing CEC Doboj
members.
Current President of CEC Doboj is Goran Janjić from Stanari,
Municipality Doboj, veterinary owner.
CEC Doboj is organizational part of Craftsmen - Entrepreneurs
Chamber for Republika Srpska.
Basic CEC Doboj aims are issued by ratified programme aims and
tasks of Craftsmen - Entrepreneurs Chamber for Republika Srpska,
which are in correlation with improving and promotion of
craftsmen and entrepreneurs businesses in different fields:
- production activities
- serviceable crafts
- handicrafts and art crafts
- transport and commerce
- catering and tourism industry
- health services
- banking and
- other industry and intelectual services.
In the aim of direct realization of programme tasks of CEC Doboj
and Craftsmen - Entrepreneurs Chamber for Republika Srpska,
activities are routed to:
- participation in regulative fetching which is related to
enterpreneurship;
- municipality and republic regulative usage recording,
which is related to craftsmen and entrepreneurs;
- initiative for modification and amendment of existent or
fetching of new municipality and state regulative;
- participation in establishment of enterpreneurship
development politics in owned municipality;
- craftsmen and enterpreneurs representation and
procuration against to state apparatus, syndicate and others in
realization of collective goals:
- protect members reputation;
- inform members about enterpreneurship regulative and
about states, conclusions and activities of Craftsmen -
Entrepreneurs Chamber for Republika Srpska and CEC Doboj;
- craftsmen and entrepreneurs data base (CEC members) and
participation data bases of Craftsmen - Entrepreneurs Chamber
for Republika Srpska;
- expert help services to CEC members and
- CEC members certificates, references and notions
issuing.
Except programme tasks, CEC Doboj is oriented to organized,
planned and unique accession in effectuation of more favorable
conditions in the area of crafts and enterpreneurship.
CEC Doboj is also initiator of activities and manifestation with
special roles in town organized life animation. Traditional
"Crafts Party" has became CEC Doboj and matched
Craftsmen-Entrepreneurs Association for Municipality Doboj, with
features of real intimacy and relaxation for craftsmen and
enterpreneurs and other Doboj citizens. |
